Django Spelling Application
"I looked for an online platform that would allow me to practice my spellings. Seeing that most platforms where paid, I decided to create a small scale Django application that save words in an online database and allowed me to choose wordlists that I want to practice. I also had to make use of a voice API, which helped improve my JavaScript skills.

Django Communications App
I attended the Aston Hackathon where the theme was posited as "communication". In an ambitious attempt to secure a prize I built a small Django Application that allowed users to make quizzes, through a very short minimal steps process. Presenting the project to the crowd allowed me to gain deeper insights into the true value of what I had created.
Because I had managed to build something relatively complex in less than 24 hours, the judges nominated and gave me the prestige of being called the "The best new-comer".

Processing Colouring Book
Processing was the graphical language introduced to teach the fundamental basics of OOP. Processing was very enjoyable due to the immediate visual feedback provided by running the program. I went on to build several small-scale applications using this language, including a Racing game, Flower growing simulator, snake game and a few more.
Most notably, was my colouring book Christmas challenge which saw me tackle the challenges of image manipulation.

HTML CSS Chess Website
This helped refine my front-end skills. The challenge was to try an implement a responsive webpage, which was something I had not been accustomed to. Working through this project I discovered the usefulness of bootstraps columns and rows syntax.

Python Times Table Trainer
In order to free myself of the cumbersome task of writing paper based times table questions and marking them for my little sister, I set out to create a command line interface application that could automatically generate random sequences of the chosen times table. This project generated some very positive results, as there was a proportional increase to my sister's performance in her subsequent tests.
This showed me the value that a small script can have.
